era. Watch the continuous replays of the apartheid

GOLD REEF
CITY
Gold Reef City is a replica of the yesteryear (the
gold rush period) of Johannesburg, built on the
grounds of a former gold mine brought to life. Descend
underground an old gold mine and experience historical
mining events and witness the smelted gold being
poured into a mould.
Enjoy the combination of show,
pleasure and history, where you can see the traditional
gumboot dance, enjoy the pleasure resort and learn
about the history of Johannesburg.

SOWETO
Explore Soweto that is one of South Africa’s
largest and most populous black urban residential
areas, which became famous with 1976 uprising. The
population is approximately 896 990 with a startling
contrast of rich and poor. Visit the old Home of
Nelson and Winnie Madikizela Mandela, Desmond Tutu
and Winnie Madikizela Mandela’s new Mansion.
View the Kliptown Squatter Camp and the Regina Mudi
Church where all the secret meetings were held during
the apartheid era. Enjoy socializing in one of the
popular shebeens and drink some umQomboti (Bantu
Beer). This is an unforgettable experience.

CULLINAN
DIAMOND MINE
Visit Premier Mine where the source is of some of
the world's largest diamonds. The most famous ones
are the Cullinan, Premier Rose, Niarchos, the Centenary
and the Golden Jubilee. The biggest of all diamonds
ever found is the Cullinan with 3106 carats, which
was named after THOMAS CULLINAN.

PRETORIA
Situated approximately 50 km north of Johannesburg,
Pretoria is renowned for its particularly beautiful
Jacaranda trees mostly for the mauve flowers, although
the most uncommon colour is white in which Pretoria
prides itself as well. Visit the Voortrekker Monument,
Church Square, where the first Church, the first
markets as well as the first shops where erected,
take site of the Union Buildings and it’s
beautiful gardens.

KRUGER NATIONAL
PARK
Depart for Kruger National Park situated in the
Eastern Transvaal now known as “Mpumalanga”;
this is one of South Africa's top tourist destinations
known for its most magnificent scenery. The "Paradise
Country", with its Mountains, Valleys, Rivers,
waterfalls, beautiful land escarpment and most of
all The Kruger National Park landscape for the “Big
Five”. It also fames itself for its bird life,
hiking trails, fishing and horse riding. Not many
regions in the world can match the beauty of “Mpumalanga”
previously known as The Lowveld. Barberton and Pilgrim's
Rest are among the most famous points in this area.
En route to the Kruger National Park through Mpumalanga,
you will view some of the most stunning sceneries.
Pass through to the village of Dullstroom and over
the Long Tom Pass with its eye catching panoramic
views. Head towards Sabie and stop at the Mac Mac
Falls continue to Pilgrim's Rest and Blyde River
Canyon for the most spectacular bird life Overnight
Blyde River Canyon.

Experience the beauty of nature in a malaria free zone,
owned priory by South African Prime minister Jan Smuts,
where Mzilikazi’s rebel Zulu warriors fled through

Christiaan de Wet’s during the Anglo-Boer war. Search
and view for the Big 5 - Elephants, Lions, Rhinos, Leopards
and African Buffalo, also keep and eye out for Giraffes,
Zebras, Hippos and Crocodiles. Bird watching is also excellent
with almost 300 species recorded.

We end our tour with the glitz and glamour of Sun City
that glitters in the brilliance of the African sun, surrounded
by its rain forest, built in the heart of an ancient volcano.

of Time and feel the Earth move beneath you. View the
Palace of the Lost City a breathtaking African fantasy

STERKFONTEIN CAVES
Today we visit the Sterkfontein Caves known as the Cradle
of Humankind and declared a World Heritage Site, these
sites are one of the richest and most productive palaeo-anthropological
sites in the world. Amongst the most remarkable findings
to have been made by numerous world famous scientists
within the Cradle of Humankind is the famous Mrs. Ples,
the first complete Australopithecus skull to be discovered.
More recently, "Little Foot", a 3.3 million-year-old
almost complete ape-man skeleton was also discovered in
the same caves and is still under excavation.

HEIA SAFARI
We end our day by visiting the Game Reserve that is nestled
at the foot of the Swartkop Mountains, where game found
their home in African bushveld. We experience a typical
